Synopsis

Hikaru Kicker, a 13-year-old, possesses a deep love for football, a passion cultivated since infancy after receiving a ball from his father's friend. His pursuit of the sport leads him to Italy, where he aims to enhance his abilities. Initially, he joins a strong team in Genova but soon leaves to become part of 'Columbus,' a significantly weaker team, alongside his friend Anna. Enduring numerous difficulties and setbacks, their team steadily improves. They achieve a notable victory by defeating 'Margerita,' one of Genova's most formidable soccer teams. Subsequently, Hikaru learns that Genova will host its first soccer tournament. Throughout the competition, Hikaru and his teammates confront various rivals, which contributes to their increasing maturity. The narrative explores whether Hikaru can score a pivotal goal and which team will ultimately secure the championship.
