Synopsis

After being summoned to town following his grandfather's death, Shougo comes to live at the family estate ahead of his busy parents, who told him to arrive first to assume the inheritance. At the residence he is greeted warmly by Youko, the attractive maid. That night he experiences a puzzling dream featuring a girl whose features feel unsettlingly familiar, though he cannot place her. At his new school the next day, Ayano—the popular student and the girl betrothed to him by their parents—formally meets him and makes clear she has not accepted the arrangement, leaving Shougo stunned and earning him resentment from classmates who admire Ayano. He also receives a cordial reception from a voluptuous teacher. Soon after, a ghost appears to Shougo and reveals herself as the same girl from his dream, forcing him to confront the mystery of where he has seen her before and what her presence signifies.
