Synopsis

Aoba Riku arrives at a new high school after his father’s relocation and quickly discovers the environment is far from ordinary. The school is run by a headmaster’s secretary who publicly promotes academic freedom while exerting control behind the scenes. The teaching staff display unusual behavior that departs from typical classroom norms, and a large portion of the student population sports animal-like ears. On his first day, Riku is unexpectedly drawn into a dangerous-sounding event organized by the student council, forcing him into a sudden struggle for safety. Alongside these odd and unsettling elements, Riku must also contend with the everyday pressures of high school life—popularity dynamics, romantic interests, and academic responsibilities—raising uncertainty about whether he can adjust and endure at this unfamiliar school.
