Synopsis

Pollution has long harmed the ocean and its inhabitants. One squid, fed up with humanity's careless dumping, rises to retaliate. Gifted with squid traits—strong tentacle-hair, ink-spitting, and controllable bioluminescence—she emerges determined to punish human wrongdoing. Landing at the Lemon Beach House, run by sisters Eiko and Chizuru Aizawa, she targets them as an easy starting point for her campaign. After damaging part of the restaurant while demonstrating her abilities, she is compelled to work as a waitress to cover repairs. Temporarily thwarted in her plans for domination, she adapts to life on land and gradually settles into her new role. The series follows her humorous daily experiences at the beach house as she forms relationships, learns about surface life, and continues to pursue her ambitions in small, unpredictable ways—one squid-ink spaghetti and eccentric encounter at a time.
