After the death of his scientist father, Shotaro Kaneda inherits the sole control device for the massive robot Tetsujin 28, a machine built in anticipation of extraterrestrial threats. The controller, carried in an attaché case, grants Shotaro direct command of the robot’s immense capabilities. If hostile forces were to capture the device, they could turn Tetsujin 28 into a weapon against humanity. Faced with dangers to global peace, Shotaro, aided by allies including Dr. Shikishima and Detective Otsuka, must deploy the metallic giant to counter those who would use its power for destruction.
