Synopsis

Nian Bing, born to a fire mage and an ice mage, inherits both parents' magic gems after they are slain by the Ice Lord. While fleeing the Ice Lord's followers, he unexpectedly performs simultaneous fire and ice magic—an act regarded as impossible—before falling unconscious from a cliff. An elderly man rescues him and revives him with an extraordinary meal; the rescuer is a renowned culinary prodigy once known as a spirit chef. Determined to take Nian Bing as his pupil, the old man sets the young mage on a path that blends rigorous culinary training with Nian Bing's quest for retribution. Torn between mastering the art of cooking under a legendary teacher and confronting the forces that destroyed his family, Nian Bing faces the challenge of reconciling his unique dual magic with his ambition to become an exceptional chef.
