Synopsis

Kazunari Usa, a freshman in high school, moves into his own residence after his parents relocate for work. Looking forward to living independently and an ordinary teenage life, he soon realizes his boarding house, Kawai Complex, is populated by unconventional residents. His roommate Shirosaki displays perverted and masochistic tendencies; Mayumi Nishikino, an office worker with a drinking problem, resents couples due to repeated romantic misfortune; and Sayaka Watanabe, a college student who projects an innocent image, takes pleasure in toying with men. Disturbed by the lack of decorum among his neighbors, Kazunari considers leaving, but an encounter with the shy upperclassman Ritsu Kawai changes his outlook as he gradually develops romantic feelings for her.
