Synopsis

Kaede Komura quietly harbors feelings for his seatmate, the scatterbrained Ai Mie, though they have hardly exchanged proper words. Seated beside her for several days, he is drawn to her unassuming presence and wishes for a moment when she might notice him. After he observes Ai without her glasses, he learns she frequently forgets them and begins offering practical help whenever she struggles. As Kaede assists her over time, he gradually uncovers deeper reasons behind her recurrently misplacing her glasses, and their interactions develop beyond the simple explanation she first provided.
