Synopsis

Athanasia de Alger Obelia, the sole lawful princess of the Obelian realm, regains memories from a previous existence and envisions a future in which Emperor Claude ends her life. Claude shows clear affection for Athanasia's elder sister Jennette but treats Athanasia with indifference, leaving the child longing for paternal warmth. Determined to thwart the predicted outcome, infant Athanasia plans to flee the palace as she grows and to keep distance from the emperor. Years pass and their lives intersect sooner than she anticipated; the young princess becomes subject to Claude's unpredictable decisions. Contrary to her expectation of apathy, she discovers he no longer treats her as an outsider. Facing a father who now accepts her into the family, Athanasia works to assume the role of a capable crown princess, even as the dark image from her past memories continues to threaten her future.
