Synopsis

In the Kingdom of Herzeth, formal healer status requires a licensed education, putting official care beyond many. Zenos, raised in poverty, mastered healing through self-instruction and proved his skill among adventurers before being expelled. After treating an enslaved elf named Lily, he decides to establish a hidden clinic to provide medical aid to those excluded by society. Working with Lily, Zenos’s underground practice soon becomes entangled in a dispute involving lizardmen, werewolves, and orcs; his medical work helps defuse the violence and foster cooperation among the groups. News of these interventions reaches the royal knights, whose displeasure threatens Zenos’s ability to keep operating while remaining true to his convictions.
