Synopsis

Following a violent assault on a nuclear site that leaves only the red-stenciled word "VON" as a clue, national authority is exposed as ineffective while law enforcement scrambles for answers. The public remains unaware until half a year later, when an unsettling clip appears online: two adolescent males identifying themselves as "Sphinx" challenge the police and threaten further chaos across Tokyo. As alarm spreads through the metropolis and officials grasp for leads, investigators find themselves hampered, with Detective Kenjirou Shibazaki situated at the center of the unfolding crisis. The narrative focuses on Nine and Twelve, the masked youths behind the Sphinx persona. Though their existence seems impossible, they persist amid a landscape of lies and secrecy, orchestrating turmoil across the city as they pursue a buried, sorrowful secret of their own.
