The world of Earthsea experiences unprecedented turmoil, marked by widespread calamities and the rare sight of dragons clashing in the sky. A powerful Archmage undertakes a journey to uncover the source of these disturbances. During his travels, he encounters a young prince, a fugitive heir burdened by a profound inner distress and a shadowy presence. The prince decides to accompany the Archmage on his quest. Their arrival in a coastal settlement brings them into conflict with a formidable evil sorcerer. This antagonist, obsessed with achieving eternal life, possesses the ability to exploit and manipulate emotions. To confront this threat, the Archmage and prince join forces with an old friend of the Archmage and an orphaned girl under her care. The sorcerer's cunning use of emotional manipulation presents a particularly dangerous challenge for the young prince, testing his resolve. Set against a backdrop of magic, the story transcends a simple conflict between opposing forces, delving into the complex internal battles and emotional landscapes of its characters.
