Synopsis

Following Quinella's overthrow, unrest persists. Kirito's return to the real world reveals the Ocean Turtle was attacked, and a short-circuit during the raid damages his fluctlight, rendering him comatose. Concerned for his safety and distrustful of the Axiom Church, Alice takes Kirito back to Rulid Village despite her banishment for an unresolved offense. She settles nearby, living quietly while hoping for his recovery. When the Dark Territory begins to encroach on the Human Empire, Alice resumes her former identity as Alice Synthesis Thirty and vows to repel the invasion to safeguard the world that Kirito and Eugeo strove to protect.
