Synopsis

After his wife’s death, teacher Kouhei Inuzuka struggles to feed his daughter Tsumugi beyond convenience meals, lacking cooking skills and balancing work. When his student Kotori Iida invites them to her family’s eatery, Kouhei and Tsumugi discover the restaurant is often closed because Kotori’s mother is away for work, and Kotori frequently dines alone. Responding to Kotori’s earnest request, Kouhei returns with Tsumugi to prepare home-cooked dishes and share meals with her. The series gently follows a devoted father’s efforts to care for his child while examining the emotional comfort, familial bonds, and everyday significance of preparing and sharing warm food.
