Synopsis

Under Southern Cross Isle lies the secret headquarters of the Glittering Crux Brigade, an enigmatic faction focused on Cybodies—ancient stone colossi that become powerful humanoid warriors only within a suspended state called Zero Time. The brigade's plan is to locate and destroy the seals tied to the island's four seal maidens so the Cybodies can operate beyond Zero Time. When Takuto Tsunashi is found washed ashore, he is taken in by Sugata Shindou and Sugata's fiancée, Wako Agemaki, who is one of those seal maidens. Takuto integrates into the island's academy, unaware that many classmates secretly serve Glittering Crux. He harbors a concealed ability: inside Zero Time he can summon and pilot his own Cybody, the Tauburn. As conflict escalates, Takuto and the Tauburn become central to efforts to safeguard Wako's seal and prevent the brigade from carrying out its plan.
