Synopsis

In the year 2220, Earth faces a dire threat as an advancing black hole expands toward the planet, prompting a massive evacuation plan to relocate over three hundred million people. During a critical withdrawal, the newest convoy of evacuees comes under assault. The Space Battleship Yamato, under the command of Susumu Kodai, intervenes to protect the transports. Among those on board is Miyuki, the daughter of Susumu and Yuki, whose presence adds personal stakes to the mission. The story follows the ship’s defensive actions amid the larger crisis while maintaining the tense, urgent atmosphere of a civilization struggling to survive.
