Synopsis

A solitary salaryman named Johnson yearns for travel and excitement beyond his mundane existence. After a hallucinatory episode, he recovers vivid recollections of a famed space pirate called Cobra, who wielded a Psychogun on his left arm and traveled the galaxy alongside his ally Lady Armaroid. The duo became notorious: feared by authorities and reviled by the Pirate Guild, a dominant coalition of the galaxy’s most powerful pirates. Back on Earth, Johnson’s night at a casino brings him into contact with the manager, Vaiken, leader of the Pirate Guild, whom he had seen defeated in his vision. When Vaiken confronts Johnson, the Psychogun concealed beneath Johnson’s left arm is activated, unlocking suppressed memories and alerting Lady Armaroid. After overcoming Vaiken and regaining his identity as Cobra, he abandons his concealment to oppose the Pirate Guild’s interstellar criminal influence. Together with Lady Armaroid, Cobra resumes a life of perilous journeys and confrontations, traveling the stars to challenge the Guild and assist those harmed by its members.
