Synopsis

Yorito Morimiya is captivated by the sky and spends his mornings capturing its changing moods—dawns, dusks, and drifting clouds. During one predawn outing to photograph the sunrise, he encounters an odd girl arguing with a vending machine; after he helps retrieve a stuck tomato juice, the girl vanishes as mysteriously as she appeared. The narrative follows Yorito alongside his sister Aono and their childhood companions Mana and Koyori Ishizuki as they become entangled with this enigmatic girl, whose presence hints at a concealed and troubling truth. Set in a world where the supernatural and subtle magic linger just beneath ordinary life and identities prove unreliable, the story examines connections, solitude, and the competing forces of affection and isolation beneath Yorito’s ever-watching sky.
