Synopsis

Hiyori Yamakawa, who grew up alongside her father's unconventional habits, cherishes the shared pastime of fly fishing—a meticulous, fulfilling way to catch fish. Following his unexpected passing, she continues to return to the shoreline, finding comfort in the ritual tied to his keepsake. Three years later, when her mother prepares to remarry and organizes a dinner with her future spouse and his child, Hiyori seeks refuge at her familiar fishing spot. There she encounters Koharu Minagi, an exuberant girl who quickly takes an interest in fly fishing. Their meeting leads to a bond beyond chance: Koharu becomes Hiyori's stepsister, and together they begin building a collection of meaningful moments as they nurture their new family connection.
