Synopsis

After a virus nearly wiped out humanity, a synthetic race called the Enterrans was created to sustain life. Tensions between creators and creations escalated into war, and the Enterrans ultimately defeated the remnants of humanity, renaming the planet Enterra. As the final human enclaves collapsed, a scientist placed his daughter, Yakumo Shindou, in suspended sleep, hoping she would one day revive humanity by finding the refuge called Shinzo and restore peace with the Enterrans. Centuries later Yakumo awakens and encounters Mashura, an Enterran who vows to help her. Joined by Enterrans Sago and Kutal, they set out to recover Yakumo’s lost memories and locate Shinzo. Their mission unfolds against a backdrop of lingering hostility: not all Enterrans support Yakumo’s cause, and some will resort to brutal measures to ensure humanity does not return.
