Synopsis

Set in 2004, a young boy named Fuyuki Hinata imagines a sky filled with strange frog-like visitors. Those imaginings coincide with the arrival of Sergeant Keroro, commander of a scouting unit sent to prepare an invasion of Pekopon (Earth). Keroro lands at the Hinata home to retrieve a vital device called the Kero Ball, but after his squad is abandoned by their command and forced to withdraw, he cannot rejoin them. Left behind, Keroro remains lodged with Fuyuki, his hot-headed athletic sister Natsumi, and their diligent mother Aki. While the stranded platoon continues to scheme daily toward world conquest, their plans repeatedly fail due to unforeseen complications. Living under the same roof with the Hinatas gradually turns the invaders’ solitary mission into an ongoing coexistence; through a mix of comedic mishaps and growing understanding, Keroro and his comrades come to view the humans not merely as targets but as companions, creating meaningful connections that reshape their time on Earth.
