In the Kingdom of Ridill, Monica Everett is renowned as the pioneer of chantless magic. Celebrated for single-handedly confronting mighty dragons, she earned a place among the Seven Sages. In truth, Monica—known as the Silent Witch—chose to cultivate her ability because of acute shyness and a preference for solitude on a remote mountain. Her withdrawn routine is disrupted when a fellow sage assigns her a secret task: to guard the second prince, Felix Arc Ridill, against assassination attempts. To carry out this assignment, Monica must assume the role of a student at Serendia Academy. Balancing covert protection duties with her social anxiety, she faces an assignment that challenges her solitude and forces her into close contact with the world she had avoided.
