Synopsis

Mikoto Shiratori, once hailed as a child prodigy in badminton, finds his performance for Mitsuhoshi Bank falling short of expectations after a past incident. Attempting to rebuild his career by switching from doubles to singles yields disappointing results, leading to his dismissal. Recruited by Sunlight Beverage’s corporate badminton squad, Mikoto faces an unexpected routine: daytime sales work alongside evening practice. Though he believed he was joining solely as an athlete, he must also fulfill company duties and, against his wishes, play doubles again. As he copes with the combined pressures of work and sport and questions his choice to sign on, relationships with his new teammates offer the possibility of renewed motivation and progress in his badminton journey.
