Synopsis

In a future where Earth's population crises spurred interplanetary colonization, a vessel named Mesopotamia suffers a catastrophic failure, leaving only six male survivors who reach a habitable world called Terra II. To preserve their endeavor, the men establish six separate nations and pursue human reproduction through cloning and genetic modification, while engineering lifelike female androids called Marionettes to perform daily tasks. These Marionettes are initially devoid of feeling until a young man named Otaru discovers and activates three combat-model Marionettes equipped with a rare component known as the Maiden Circuit, which grants them emotional capacity. Otaru becomes responsible for guiding their emotional development, and when a neighboring nation threatens conquest, he and the emotionally awakened Marionettes must defend their country.
