Synopsis

Once the top student at the prestigious Detective Training Academy known as BLUE, Ron Kamonohashi has withdrawn from society after being expelled five years earlier and narrowly avoiding execution tied to a murder case. Banned from practicing detective work, he lives in isolation until police detective Totomaru Isshiki, acting on a senior’s suggestion, tracks him down to request assistance on a months-old unsolved crime. Reluctantly cooperating, Ron applies his extraordinary intuition and identifies the perpetrator within a day. During their collaboration a troubling phenomenon becomes apparent: Ron appears linked to a strange condition that endangers the lives of people nearby. In a surprising turn, Totomaru manages to protect someone Ron inadvertently imperils. Forming an uneasy partnership, the two begin resolving a string of cases, even as BLUE dispatches agents to determine whether Ron has resumed investigative activities. Confronted by killers, corrupt investigators, and opposition from the Metropolitan Police Department, Ron and Totomaru must rely on one another to survive and pursue justice.
