Synopsis

Rilakkuma is a plush bear who unexpectedly comes to live with a young woman called Kaoru. The bear spends its time relaxing around her apartment; a zipper on its back hints at an unknown interior. Rilakkuma enjoys simple treats such as pancakes, omelets over rice, custard pudding, and dango rice dumplings. Sharing the household are Kaoru’s pet bird, Kiiroitori, and a small white cub named Korilakkuma, who also appeared without explanation. The series focuses on their gentle daily life together, preserving a calm, cozy atmosphere and a sense of quiet mystery about Rilakkuma’s origins.
