Synopsis

In New York, a series of unexplained suicides has unsettled the city. One morning, four classmates from the same high school awaken feeling weak and disoriented, unable to recall the events of the previous night. At school they learn a fellow student has taken her own life and classes are dismissed for the day. Rather than returning home, the four girls are inexplicably led to a nearby park by butterflies visible only to them. There, a man and a woman confront the group and reveal that the girls themselves perished the night before. The story follows the eerie atmosphere of confusion, loss, and the gradual uncovering of what transpired during the missing hours.
