Synopsis

Every millennium, deities from diverse mythologies convene to decide whether humanity should be erased. United in disdain for human selfishness, the gods vote for extinction. Before the sentence is carried out, Brunhilde, a Valkyrie among Valhalla’s thirteen, intervenes and proposes an alternative: enact Ragnarök, a series of one-on-one duels pitting thirteen of humanity’s strongest fighters against thirteen gods. Though the gods scorn the proposal, Brunhilde leverages their pride to secure their consent. Her role then becomes recruiting the most powerful mortal warriors from across a thousand years of human history and guiding them in the trials that will determine whether humankind survives.
