Synopsis

After repelling brutal goblin assaults, young warrior Parn reunites with allies—priest Etoh, elf Deedlit, dwarf Ghim, and mage Slayn—and departs to explore a growing menace on the island of Lodoss. Their travels bring clashes with ominous demonic beings and an arrest by the garrison of a fortified city. Though freed, they witness Ashram, a formidable fighter acting under the direction of the rogue Beld, seize the city and slay its respected captain. Humiliated by his perceived shortcomings, Parn vows to become stronger than Ashram. Meanwhile, the witch Karla appears to further covert, more dangerous schemes under the cover of Beld’s political pursuits. To prevent a calamity that could devastate Lodoss and all he values, Parn must gather additional allies and confront the escalating threat.
