Synopsis

Minato Kiyomizu awakens in a hospital to learn he has been unconscious for 203 days and that a car crash erased his memories of middle school. He gradually recalls that he once excelled in water polo and feels a pull to reclaim that part of himself. Confronted by the gap between who he was and who he is now, Minato undergoes intensive rehabilitation and attempts to forge a new life without the sport. On his first day at Yamanami High School, reminders of his former ability and a promise from his past resurface. Aware of his present limitations, he nevertheless decides to join the school's water polo club. As he relearns fundamental techniques, Minato and his teammates must also find enough members to meet the seven-player requirement. Through training, recruitment, and persistence, he works to unearth the skill he once had and aims to rise again as a prominent water polo player in Japan.
