Synopsis

Coult, heir to the Loon throne, grows up cherished by his father, King Stephan, and surrounded by loyal retainers. Bright, kind, and marked by the blessing of the god Aganade, he carries the legacy of his mother Galatea, Aganade’s daughter. When Coult was an infant, Medusa—offspring of an evil spirit—acted on jealousy and petrified Galatea along with many villagers. To spare more lives, Stephan swore fealty to Medusa and agreed that Coult would submit to her will on his eighth birthday. Faced with that fate, Coult refuses complacency: on the appointed day he vows to confront Medusa, restore those turned to stone, and sets out on a long journey to find the daughter of the evil spirit.
