Synopsis

On the eve of her fourteenth birthday, Mayumi Doujima makes a pledge to abandon her aspiration of becoming an astronaut if she cannot relocate a star she once glimpsed. The eccentric Manabu Soutouin, overhearing her predicament, recruits her to join the enigmatic Pretty Boy Detective Club at Yubiwa Academy—an outfit defined by a lighthearted credo: be pretty, be a boy, and be a detective. Mayumi stands apart from others because she perceives subtle details that evade ordinary vision, from distant figures approaching to concealed hazards. As the investigation into the vanished star progresses and setbacks mount, the club's simple quest deepens into a circumstance far more complex and perilous than they anticipated, drawing Mayumi and the detectives into an unforeseen entanglement.
