Synopsis

Alice Sakaguchi experiences a vivid, disorienting dream in which she is someone else living on the moon. The vision lingers and begins to occupy her thoughts, and she soon learns that several classmates report similar recollections. Together they realize these episodes are fragments of previous lives in which they served as a team of researchers stationed on the lunar surface. United by those recovered memories, they set out to locate the others who played roles in that earlier mission and to reconstruct the events that unfolded there. As they piece together the past, they confront the ways those prior choices and incidents continue to intrude upon and shape their current lives, bringing emotional and practical complications that must be addressed.
