Synopsis

After their parents' deaths, twins Kanba and Shouma raise their ailing sister Himari, whose condition barely holds. On a rare outing to an aquarium, Himari collapses, then astonishingly regains life after donning a penguin hat bought at the gift shop. Her revival brings an unforeseen consequence: an unknown presence now resides within her, and its demands force the brothers to pursue the elusive "Penguin Drum." Their search unravels hidden links to their past and draws them into encounters with other individuals whose own wishes and fates intersect with the artifact. As the twins follow the threads that connect these lives, they confront painful memories and competing desires, all while trying to preserve Himari's fragile existence without surrendering to the forces that shape everyone's destinies.
