Synopsis

Momo Adachi, a former high school swimmer with striking tan skin and lightened hair, outwardly appears confident but inwardly longs for Kazuya “Toji” Toujigamori, a baseball player she fell for in junior high who is said to prefer pale-skinned girls. Despite efforts to alter her look, Momo becomes the target of vicious gossip that paints her as promiscuous and easily won. Though her classmate Sae Kashiwagi offers comfort, Sae is secretly orchestrating the rumors to undermine Momo and pursue Toji for herself. At the same time, popular student Kairi Okayasu openly declares his affection for Momo and pushes to win her attention. Caught amid competing suitors, backstabbing peers, and persistent doubts about her appearance, Momo must navigate fraught relationships and personal insecurity to understand her own identity and what she truly wants.
