Synopsis

A freelance photographer, Kouya Madoka, once lost his family life, self-assurance, and willingness to shoot people after publishing an image that provoked a torrent of online abuse. Years later, a new assignment draws him into the intense milieu of Formula 4 racing. Witnessing a fierce contest among junior open-wheel competitors reignites his photographic passion. After capturing a raw moment when Komaki Motors' young driver Haruka Asahina breaks down on the circuit, Madoka is moved to act: he decides to provide financial support to both the Komaki outfit and Haruka himself. Confronted with the prohibitive expenses of motorsport, Madoka must reconsider how best to sustain the cash-strapped team. Despite daunting obstacles, his resolve to help Haruka progress could become the catalyst that advances the driver’s career.
