Synopsis

Two orphaned siblings travel together in search of a place to belong: Gam-i, the older sister, relies on her younger brother Gil-son to lead them. A compassionate monk offers them temporary shelter at his monastery, providing relief from their wandering. Gil-son's lively, unruly behavior repeatedly disrupts the peaceful routines of the temple, testing the patience of the resident monks. Though he appears indifferent to formal etiquette and discipline, his actions and perspective hint at a deep, unconventional path toward understanding. The story follows their quiet struggle for stability and the surprising possibility that the boy's restless nature may bring him closer to spiritual realization than appearances suggest.
