Synopsis

Kirino Kousaka has come back to Japan and is rebuilding daily life alongside her family and friends. Although her older brother Kyousuke once intervened to bring her home from track and field training abroad, she remains distant toward him, leaving Kyousuke unsettled. He worries that persuading her to abandon her athletic path in America damaged their bond. Meanwhile, Kyousuke faces a puzzling, cryptic note from Ruri "Kuroneko" Gokou, a younger schoolmate who is also close to Kirino. As the connections among the siblings and their circle grow more complex, Kirino and Kyousuke must navigate how to handle those relationships and come to terms with their own emotions. Through these developments, Kirino still carves out moments to indulge her otaku interests, often with Kyousuke at her side.
