Synopsis

Shiori, now a first grader, encounters one of the school realities she has heard about: homework. Her initial apprehension shifts as the Asahigaoka girls gather at Komari and Natsumi Koshigaya's home to tackle their assignments together. Their cooperative effort progresses smoothly until Natsumi's tendency to delay tasks sparks a lively interruption. On a different occasion, Natsumi proposes forming and captaining a badminton club to her teacher, Kazuho Miyauchi. Although financial constraints and a lack of gear pose obstacles, the girls seek assistance from Kaede Kagayama, the local candy shop owner. During an impromptu practice session, a small mishap prompts Kaede to recall a notable day when she looked after Renge Miyauchi. The narrative emphasizes gentle camaraderie, youthful initiative, and the modest setbacks that lead to shared memories.
