Synopsis

In the Fortna Kingdom’s dusty castle town of Dayah, orphaned Nina survives by stealing. After repeated misfortunes leave her with little hope, her friend Saji entrusts her to Second Prince Azure Seth Fortna, who has sought someone with striking deep-blue eyes like Nina’s. Meanwhile, the kingdom conceals the death of its honored Astral Priestess Alisha, who had been traveling to the Galgada Kingdom to marry the oppressive First Prince Sett. Pressed by circumstance and with no alternatives, Nina adopts Alisha’s identity and accepts the responsibilities that come with it. As she fulfills the role expected of the princess, Nina becomes emotionally affected by Azure’s kindness and warmth, and she worries that if she is later wed to another, her real identity and memories of her true self will be lost.
