Synopsis

Mikako Kōda, aged sixteen, dreams of launching her own fashion label and studies at the prestigious Yazawa Art School with her longtime friend Tsutomu Yamaguchi. Their close rapport and frequent quarrels lead others to assume they are romantically involved, yet both insist they see only friendship. The dynamic shifts when Tsutomu begins to take on the appearance of Ken Nakagawa, the frontman of the popular band Manbō, and attracts increased attention from classmates. Confronted with this change, Mikako and Tsutomu are compelled to reconsider the boundaries between love and friendship and to examine what their relationship truly means.
