An original animated short was distributed across UNIQLO retail locations in Japan beginning January 1, 2011. The DVD edition includes a unique rendition of "Mayonaka Orchestra" performed by the rock band Aqua Timez. A restricted quantity of these DVDs were given as gifts to customers who purchased UNIQLO Naruto graphic T-shirts either online or in physical stores.
