Synopsis

Two years after the Fourth Great Ninja War, Konohagakure enjoys a fragile peace until Sixth Hokage Kakashi Hatake detects the moon drawing perilously close to Earth, risking planetary destruction. Amid that looming crisis, a new antagonist named Toneri Otsutsuki launches an attack on the village and abducts Hanabi Hyuuga, the younger sister of Hinata. Kakashi assembles an experienced rescue squad—Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, Shikamaru Nara, Sai, and Hinata—to recover Hanabi from Toneri’s control. Their mission encounters numerous setbacks that strain team dynamics and complicate the rescue effort. As the world nears catastrophe, the group must confront interpersonal tensions and overcome obstacles while racing to avert global ruin. Throughout the conflict, Naruto finds himself fighting for a cause that transcends his previous goals, driven by matters of the heart.
