Synopsis

After returning to Konohagakure, the young ninja celebrate a victory against supposed Akatsuki, but Naruto and Sakura react differently: Naruto longs for parents he never knew, while Sakura resents hers and wishes otherwise. Their dispute is interrupted when the masked Madara Uchiha appears and shifts them into an alternate reality. In that world, Sakura’s parents are revered as heroes who sacrificed themselves during the Nine-Tailed Fox attack a decade earlier, and Naruto’s parents, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, are alive. Stranded without an obvious path back or the chance to confront the masked Madara, the two remain in the altered village and experience the family circumstances they had imagined. Their respite ends when a sudden new danger threatens the alternate Konohagakure, compelling Naruto and Sakura to defend that village while searching for a way to return to their original world.
