Synopsis

Tasked with apprehending Mukade, a renegade shinobi seeking the sealed Ryuumyaku beneath the Rouran ruins, Yamato, Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sai confront a rupture of ancient chakra. Although the Fourth Hokage had confined the Ryuumyaku, Mukade manages to unleash its force, and a violent discharge sweeps Naruto and Yamato away. Naruto awakens in an ornate but unfriendly realm and encounters Queen Saara and three Konohagakure operatives on a covert assignment. They inform him he has been transported to Rouran two decades earlier. Worse, Mukade has assumed a new identity within the royal court—trusted minister Anrokuzan—where he exerts influence over the inexperienced queen. Aligned with the undercover ninjas, Naruto must ensure Saara's safety to thwart Mukade's scheme and find a way back to his original time.
