Synopsis

In the tranquil town of Sakuranomori, a close-knit circle of youngsters faces a painful parting when Sana Hidaka must relocate to Tokyo for his family’s business. He reluctantly separates from his dear companions—the gentle Aoi Oribe, the lively Wakatsuki twins Shuri and Shuusuke, and the buoyant Nanaka Yatsushiro—carrying with him the conviction that distance will not erase the value of their shared memories. Five years pass, and a 16-year-old Sana comes back hoping to reclaim the life he left behind. Though the town’s outward calm seems unchanged, he soon discovers that his friends have shifted; they conceal new truths and shoulder unseen strains. Those hidden difficulties cast a growing unease over Sakuranomori and threaten the relationships that once felt unbreakable.
