Synopsis

The film follows five apprentice witches—Doremi, Aiko, Hazuki, Onpu, and Momoko—on a visit to Doremi’s grandfather’s rural residence. During their stay they encounter the enigma of the frog stone, a place tied to the countryside’s once-vibrant magical presence. As they investigate, Aiko rekindles her affection and bond with Doremi’s grandfather, and Doremi uncovers a fragment of the magical realm’s history, gaining insight into how magic once blended with everyday life in that region. The mood remains gentle and wistful, emphasizing friendship, family ties, and the quiet wonder of discovering the past without revealing major plot developments.
