Synopsis

In the 105th year of the Universal Century, a fragile peace follows decades of conflict, upheld by a militarized Earth Federation and its control over planetary and orbital settlements. The ideals of past figures—soldiers who sacrificed for peace and rebels who sought freedom—continue to shape the era. Hathaway Noa, son of a noted Federation commander, carries conflicting legacies: steadfast loyalty to those who defended humanity and the insurgent zeal of a leader who once rose against the Federation. Traumatized by the events of a previous uprising, Hathaway adopts the nom de guerre Mafty Navue Erin and organizes a clandestine resistance called Mafty to oppose the Federation's increasing authoritarian measures. When he prevents a plane hijacking staged by a group falsely using Mafty's name, a young woman, Gigi Andalucia, uncovers his covert role. Hathaway forms connections with Gigi and with Federation officer Kenneth Sleg, but maintaining his secret life places them at risk as tensions between Mafty and the Federation escalate toward open confrontation.
