Synopsis

Shougo Yahagi is a motorcycle-obsessed youth inhabiting a city defined by high-performance bikes, loud rock, and pop idols. Most residents live calmly under the guidance of a computerized system embodied by idol Eve, a fact they do not realize. Shougo spends his days riding and pursuing relationships, including with Yui Takanaka, an aspiring dancer. His routine is shattered when his friend Shinji Nakagawa reveals a classified project: the Garland, a cutting-edge motorcycle with the ability to shift into a mech. When military forces attack, Shougo commandeers the Garland and flees into the urban sprawl. With Yui and her companions assisting his escape, he slowly comes to understand that the apparent tranquility of their society conceals a fabricated reality.
