Synopsis

Summer break finds the students of Lillian Girls' Academy away from school. Yumi accompanies Sachiko to the Ogasawara family's seaside residence for what should be a peaceful retreat. The calm is disrupted when several of Sachiko's past acquaintances arrive for tea—affluent, elitist debutantes who question Yumi's place in Sachiko's life. Their presence creates social tension and threatens to turn the holiday into an uncomfortable ordeal, testing relationships and altering the atmosphere of the getaway without revealing specific outcomes.
